Following the recent celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, today we are holding a ceremony to present state decorations to the Institute’s employees. The nominations for these awards, submitted on the occasion of the Institute’s Golden Jubilee, were put forward to the President of the Republic of Poland by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Marek Konarzewski.

The awards, i.e. Medals for Long Service as well as Crosses of Merit, were presented by the Vice-President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Mirosława Ostrowska. She emphasized that this event is an important part of the Jubilee celebrations and a way to recognize the work and dedication of those who help build the Institute and its achievements (photo gallery). In addition, a group of professors will receive the Knights of the Order of Polonia Restituta from the President of the Republic of Poland. We warmly congratulate all those honored.
