During the most recent meeting of the Council of Rectors of the City of Poznań, an agreement was signed to implement the PoDEST programme (Poznań Doctoral Exchange for Science and Training), which our Institute has also joined. The programme aims to develop long-term cooperation between Poznań universities and institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences in the field of doctoral education. Within PoDEST, doctoral candidates will have the opportunity to participate in courses, training sessions and other forms of support offered by various doctoral schools in Poznań, including those outside their home institution. The initiative seeks to enhance the quality of education, broaden the competences of early-career researchers, and strengthen cooperation and integration within the Poznań academic community.
The signatories to the PoDEST programme agreement are the universities affiliated with the Council of Rectors of the City of Poznań (Academy of Music in Poznań, University of Physical Education in Poznań, Poznań University of Technology, University of the Arts in Poznań, Poznań University of Economics and Business, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poznań University of Medical Sciences, and Poznań University of Life Sciences), as well as five institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS, the Institute of Dendrology PAS, the Institute of Molecular Physics PAS, the Institute of Human Genetics PAS, and the Institute of Plant Genetics PAS).
