Objectives

The objectives of the Project are as follows:

1. Studies of the effect of external contacts on edge magnetic moments.
2. Comparative studies on charge and spin transport through graphene and selected graphene-like nanostructures.
3. Studies on magneto-thermoelectric effects in graphene and similar 2-dimensional nanostructures.
4. Studies on effects due to electron correlations and structural defects in the context of low-dimensional nanosystems.
